How Jackpots Work (Rules)
1) Who Can Play
- You are 18 years or older and have full legal capacity.
- You reside in Kenya and use services from Kenyan Mobile Network Operators (MNOs).
- You register one personal account and keep your details accurate and up to date.
- You use lawful, Kenya-accepted payment methods (e.g., mobile money). Funds from illegal activity are strictly prohibited.
2) How the Jackpot Works
- Bets are placed online (website, mobile site, app) or via mobile SMS where available.
- A bet is valid only when you have sufficient funds and the wager is accepted by Moyobet before the listed deadline.
- After placement, bets cannot be changed or cancelled by the player.
- Your Account shows your open/settled bets, stakes and returns.
- Results are based on official sources. Winnings are paid to your Account once results are confirmed.
3) Betting Limits
- Sports (Live & Prematch): Min 100 KES / Max 1,000,000 KES per bet.
- Other products (e.g., online casino) have limits set by each provider—check in-game limits before playing.
- Winnings above applicable limits may be deemed invalid and unpaid.
4) Payouts & Adjustments
- Settled returns = stake × accepted odds, minus any applicable fees/taxes required by Kenyan law.
- If a settlement or display error occurs (odds, line, total, price), Moyobet may recalculate or void affected bets as per our error policy.
- In case of dispute, Moyobet’s transaction logs are the final authority.
5) Bonuses & Promotions (Jackpot)
- Each promotion has specific terms (eligibility, rollover, time limits).
- Moyobet may cancel or adjust a bonus if misconfigured or misused (evidence of arbitrage, multi-accounting, coordinated patterns).
- Deposits tied to a bonus may become non-withdrawable until requirements are met.
- Offers are limited one per person/household/device/payment method, and available only to customers with a valid real-money deposit.
6) Taxes in Kenya (KRA)
- 5% Excise Duty applies to all deposits into your betting wallet.
- 5% Withholding Tax applies to all withdrawals from your betting wallet.
- Moyobet is legally required to deduct and remit these taxes directly to KRA.
7) Fair Play & Prohibited Practices
To protect all players, Moyobet uses tools to detect and prevent fraud and abuse (device checks, geo-location, transaction analysis). Prohibited behaviours include but are not limited to:
- Opening multiple accounts; using bots or automated tools; masking IPs.
- Abusive or offensive language towards players or staff.

8) Restricted Areas

9) Late, Postponed or Erroneous Markets (Summary)
- Late bets (placed after an event starts) are void unless explicitly in-play and fairly priced at the time of placement.
- Wrong price/line/participant/match time: open bets may be recalculated at the corrected terms or voided at Moyobet’s discretion.
- If an outcome is already known when the bet is placed, such bet is void
